It is said that this fabric, adorned with interwoven stars and crescents, first appeared in one of the sultan’s palaces when he commissioned the most skilled weavers to design a cloth that would reflect the splendor of Moroccan nights—where the glow of the stars meets the tranquility of the crescent moon in a clear sky.
